Big Changes to Topdeck – Smaller Groups, Stronger Connections
We’ve made exciting changes to Topdeck that bring even more value to every trip. These updates are designed to make group travel more authentic, immersive, and rewarding.
Smaller Groups
From now on, every trip has a maximum of 18 people.
Why? Because smaller groups mean:
More authentic local dining (think tiny tavernas in Greece or hidden trattorias in Rome)
Easier access to unique experiences like a walk-and-taste tour in Berlin or cooking classes in Italy
A smoother, less stressful travel experience at landmarks and popular sites
Data shows:
68% prefer groups of up to 20 people
66% say landmarks are better with smaller groups
64% say smaller groups = less stressful travel
New Age Range
Trips are now strictly for those aged 18–32 (no exceptions).
Why? Because travellers told us they want to share experiences with people closer to their own life stage.

Topdeck is now better than ever, smaller groups, more meaningful travel, and adventures designed for travellers who want to experience the world together.
Small-Group Adventures, Big Experiences
From April 2026, all Topdeck trips will officially move to small-group travel, with a maximum of 18 guests per trip!
That means more connection, more experiences, and more time seeing the sights, all while keeping the true Topdeck DNA that travellers love.
We’re also saying goodbye to traditional coaches and hello to more flexible travel, including:
Rail journeys (cutting down hours of travel time)
Ferries and local boats
Mini coaches
Domestic flights
This means more time in destination, not just on the road.
Expect more inclusions, more foodie experiences, and more authentic moments, all shared with a like-minded group of young travellers.
Please note our new age range is 18–32 years old (at the time of booking), designed to create stronger connections with travellers in a similar life stage.
