For travel outside of New Zealand, you need a current New Zealand Passport.
Dependant on where you are travelling, will determine how long your passport will need to be valid for - we can check these for you. Other nationalities - please ask us for details.
This is depending on which countries you are travelling to and for how long. Our experienced consultants will be able to advise you upon booking.
Each airline will their own rules and conditions that we need to adhere too. Often payment for tickets is due 24 hours from booking or some can be 7 days after booking. We will advise the special conditions required at time of booking.
As there are bank charges for credit card payments, we need to pass this on to you.
For some countries, the answer is yes. Discuss your travel plans with us and our experience consultants will advise you on any compulsory vaccinations required. It is always advisable to discuss your travel plan with your own doctor.
Generally, if you are holding a confirmed booked, you do not need to re-confirm. However, in regards to flights, it is always best to check with the airline close to departure time for any time changes or re-schedules.
We strongly recommend that you take a fully comprehensive travel insurance policy for your protection and peace of mind. Travel insurance (subject to the insurance company's policy conditions) include cover for cancellations due to unforeseen events, medical costs, luggage, money, rental car excesses etc. The decision to take out such insurance and the amount of cover taken is entirely your decision. We suggest you ensure the policy commences when you make your first payment towards your holiday to ensure you receive the benefit of the cancellation and curtailment section of the travel insurance
The travel bubble between New Zealand and the Cook Islands is currently paused and is due to be reviewed on 4 November, 2021. Pending this decision you cannot travel quarantine-free to the Cook Islands.
To be eligible to travel to or from the Cook Islands and New Zealand on a quarantine-free flight you must first meet the following eligibility criteria:
in the 14-day period before travel, you must have been only in New Zealand or the Cook Islands
during the 14-day period before travel, you must not have had a positive COVID-19 test (or if you have, you have written advice from a health practitioner that you are no longer infectious)
you must not be awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test that was undergone during the 14-day period.
Before you travel to the Cook Islands, you will need to complete the Cook Islands Declaration form at least 24 hours before your departure for the Cook Islands.

FIJI
On Sunday 10 October, the Fiji government announced that Fiji will open it's borders to New Zealand and other countries from 1 December. New Zealand does not currently offer a quarantine-free return to New Zealand.
The Fiji government has announced requirements for all travellers to Fiji to be fully vaccinated, with pre-departure test before departing. All passengers will also require a test 40 hours after arrival, with the requirement to isolate in their hotel until this is completed.

To travel from New Zealand to Australia on a quarantine-free flight, you must meet the criteria set by the Australian Government. New Zealand does not currently offer a quarantine-free return to New Zealand.
The current guidelines state that you must have been in New Zealand for a minimum of 14 days to enter Australia quarantine-free. Please be aware that restrictions may change at any time and normal visa entry requirements apply.
Before you travel to Australia, you will need to complete the Australia Travel Declaration at least 72 hours before your departure for Australia. The Australia Travel Declaration collects your contact details in Australia, flight details, quarantine requirements and your health status.
Each Australian state has their own additional travel declaration form that needs to be filled out. Both forms must be completed before travel to enter without hassle.

Airlines maintain various requirements around the use of face masks and provision of evidence of negative COVID test results in transit and final destination aligning with border controls. This information is subject to change without notice, we recommend you update yourself with the relevant airline and government policies at the time of booking and immediately before travel.
If you choose to voluntarily cancel future bookings and you have paid either deposit or in full you have the following options:
You may be eligible for credit with the airline or travel provider. This credit is required to be rebooked with Shore Travel. We will assist you in rebooking using that credit in accordance with that airline or travel provider’s credit and booking terms and conditions, when you are ready to travel. At the time of rebooking, we will requote the holiday for you.
If you are not offered or do not take a credit with an airline or travel provider your options are:
Some bookings are non-refundable however you may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
Any applicable refund will be processed by the airline or travel provider, and returned to you once received by Shore Travel. No refunds can be issued until we have received final funds from the airline or travel provider. Note that travel provider cancellation terms and conditions and fees may differ and can be up to 100% of the booking value.
