When to Visit the USA 

The USA is a large country and climates and weather vary greatly by season and location.

In spring (March - May) temperatures begin to warm up. It's the perfect time to visit national parks, as waterfalls are flowing and flowers are in bloom. Travel to Washington, D.C. in between March and April to see the famed National Cherry Blossom Festival.

During summer (June - August), northern states enjoy warm days and cooler mornings and nights, while the southern states experience very hot temperatures. This is the perfect time to enjoy the great outdoors.

Temperatures begin to cool down around the country during the autumn months (September - November). Marvel at the beautiful shades of red, yellow and orange as the leaves change in New England. Autumn is a great time to visit as the country celebrates Halloween on the 31 October and Thanksgiving on the fourth Saturday of November.

Winter (December - February) is fairly mild in the southern states, while in the northern, north eastern, mid-western states often encounter snow and colder temperatures. Watch holiday parades and admire amazing decorations over the Christmas period.
